polyphobia Wrote:I moved this bug report onto http://www.marvelousdesigner.com/forum/content.aspx?ForumNo=6&ThreadNo=32&Page=l. Polyphobia, please see the topic.
are you working with a different version than the trial? i just downloaded it and the resulting exported objs are always empty.
marvelousdesigner will export nothing if nothing is selected which it shouldn't do.
make sure there is a check mark by the item your selecting to save
because just selecting the name will not put a check mark next to it and you might think your saving it when your not
it doesn't matter which object i select, it looks pretty much as if the program just exports a material into the obj file:

sorry i don't want to highjack this thread, maybe its better to copy my part into the bugreports forum
This will work
So you want instructions on import Marvelous Desinger clothing into Poser / daz with out ANY of rescaling tweaks ? First you need to get Objaction Scaler 3c a free program found at:http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?most_wanted&page=7
Export the v4 obj in poser scale Use Objaction Scaler to reduce the v4 obj by 2500
Imoprt the v4 obj at 100 percent in Marvelous Desinger
Export the clothing at 100 percent
Use Objaction Scaler to increace the clothing by 2500
When importing in poser leave everthing unchecked but make polygons normals consisent !!!!!
When imoprting the clothing in Daz use the poser preset
