[Version 3.58]

"Mac Version" has been released!

We are proud to announce the release of 3.58 version. This release contains significant enhancements in the bug the program sometimes crashes when lines are crossed or close each other. For a full list of changes in this version, please click here.

All users are advised to upgrade to this new release. Click on the link below to download the 3.58 version.

Main Updates

Line Crossing bug fixed

The bug related to line crossing in the previous version has been fixed.

Pressure

It is now possible to simulate inflated objects and quilted garments better using pressure parameter.

Default Setting for Particle Distance

Default setting for Particle Distance on the pattern in Preference menu is now available.

Default Setting for Arrangement Point Size

Default setting for Arrangement point size is now available.

Loading "Translation Dialog" box

Now you can load “Translation Dialog” by pressing “F1” key while moving pints/lines. You can still load “Translation Dialog” by clicking right mouse button while moving points/lines.

Split the Property Editor into two tabs - Basic and Fabric

From the version 3.57 and above, the property window has been divided into two tabs, the Property tab and the Fabric tab.

Is there a 30 day trial on Mac version? I get a NO LICENSED PRODUCTS pop up when I use my MD log in. Thx

Yes,

First, you need to download a window version (either "Download for 32bit" or "Download for 64bit") on http://www.marvelousdesigner.com/Marvelous/Downloads.aspx for getting the 30-days trial license. Then you can use Mac version.

I´ve always said that it pays to be patient. Thank you so much dear MD team for the Mac release. I will install it immediately. I´m so curious about how it feels on the Mac. The weekend will be saved. Thanks again!!!

A much more pleasant surprise than last Friday´s surprise.

Install was seamless. No problems so far.

When Marvelous Designer was first released for Windows users they were offered a license for $99. Will Mac users be offered the same introductory price, or do we have to pay $199?

Yes, it would be nice if you can offer a discounted $99 price on Mac version. Please ask if someone can make this happen. When I saw the PC version on sale and mention of a Mac sidegrade offer, there was little info about a forthcoming Mac version and I did not want to get stuck with PC software I can´t use. So I will try the demo and wait for a promotional offer to buy it.
