Unless I missed it, what is the percentage the sellers get to keep?

Is it based on the content license?

I´m assuming people aren´t going to be able to just sell their stuff for free. I have heard no mention yet of how any of that works.

How do people get paid, how much, when?

I was wondering the same thing. I can´t seem to find this information anywhere.

I assumed the marketplace is simply a service to help popularize their software, and not a source of income for them. Sellers keep 100% of the proceeds and CLO makes money through the sales of its software.

Yeah, but doesn´t that cut into the business of the people that paid a $500  premium for the business license?

Why buy a business license if you can sell it here for $500 less?

I thought the initial idea was that people could get their feet wet here then ,if they actually made money, they could afford to buy a business license and they would already know they could make money with it.

Actually, there is this clause in the Marketplace EULA:

Entrepreneur Licenses can be purchased only by Marvelous Designer user who has Small Business or Enterprise Software License.

So you need the Small Business license to be able to purchase products with Entrepreneur license and resell them. [You also need the Small Business license to be able to sell your products in other marketplaces.]

So, I guess these licenses would also apply to free items?

Does a person have a choice as to which license levels are available for each item? or do all items include all three levels?

All Products always provide STYLIST LICENSE, however, other two types of Licenses are provided only in case that a vendor wants them. - Marketplace EULA

i think it will all go threw payapl and paypal gets like 30 cents per transaction so i think marvelous designer should get the same and they covers any sales tax by deducting it from the seller after its sold.

that way no user needs to give out any personal information like tax ID or social security numbers.

i done that with a site once on selling 3d models and wont do it again.

i told them the remove my personal information and they said they couldn't because it was stuck in there data base.

It is not fixed yet. It would be more than DAZ and Renderosity, though.

Also not fixed.

Vendors will get paid with Paypal.

The market would be open to the vendors a few weeks later (after the software and marketplace system will get stable and fully tested).
