before trying this you may need to confirm this with one of there staff at marvelousdesigner.com

for your character
First Make a Back up copy

find the folder
Program Files\Marvelous Designer 2\Model\Avatar\woman_west
your start up character is woman_west.dae
you would need to rename your new character with the same name woman_west.dae and place it in that folder.

for your cloth

find the folder
\Program Files\Marvelous Designer 2\Model\Cloth
your start up cloth is default.pac
you would need ti rename your new cloth with the same name default.pac and place it in that folder

There is a better way to do this. Find "Marvelous.prj" in the installation folder and edit it for the start-up setting.

FYI, we have a plan to develop a unified file format for Marvelous Designer.

It also works with obj files.
Another question. Is it possible to assign bounding volume, pan file, in "Marvelous.prj"

Yes we can. And we will arrange and announce the development schedule for the future release next week.
