Artist Introduction

I’m Gunes Caliskan. I graduated from the faculty of fine arts 7 years ago as a graphic designer. I didn’t keep that title for so long, I jumped into the 3D world. I found out about Marvelous Designer while improving myself. I’m working in the game/animation industry as a freelancer right now.

Can you give us a quick overview of the different tools used in your pipeline?

I used Marvelous Designer for the mesh (even for the sharp blades and the platform). I’m using Marvelous Designer for many different kinds of models. I can create many things with it such as hard surface models, plush toys, bags. I textured the prop in Substance 3D Painter and rendered it in Marmoset Toolbag.

How can you describe your overall experience of the use of the Marvelous Designer?

Marvelous Designer is simply amazing. Everything you need is there, you just need to pick the right tool you need. You don’t need to get lost in the menus. You can easily learn this software and this is the best thing about Marvelous Designer. Such a powerful tool with a clean UI, sounds like a dream!
