System Requirements (April 2026)
This document describes the specifications and precautions that your computer must meet to install, launch, and operate Marvelous Designer software.

1) Windows 10 support has ended on October 14, 2025. Strongly recommend using Windows 11.
2) To use the basic functions of Marvelous Designer, 16GB of memory is required; for smoother operation, 32GB of memory is needed; and for very heavy and complex clothing and animations, 64GB or more of memory is required.
3) Marvelous Designer utilizes Nvidia CUDA acceleration technology for Marvelous Designer GPU-Simulation and Rendering. So computers with only Intel Graphics or AMD graphics card do not benefit from GPU acceleration that speeds up Marvelous Designer simulation. If you want faster GPU-simulation in Marvelous Designer software, look for a computer with a recent Nvidia graphics card.

5) A GPU that supports OpenGL Compatibility Profile 1.3 or higher is required to run Marvelous Designer software. Some mobile GPU processors from AMD and Intel may not fully support OpenGL, which is essential for running Marvelous Designer software, and may not run Marvelous Designer software. If you are using a laptop or graphics card with a built-in CPU, check with the hardware manufacturer for the GPU model and whether it supports OpenGL.

1) Apple announced that Apple is ending support for Intel-powered Macs with macOS Tahoe.
2) Starting with Marvelous Designer 2024, the minimum macOS has been changed to Monterey 12. See which macs are compatible with macOS Monterey 12 here. macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers.

Please Note
- Marvelous Designer software does not support garment pattern digitizers.
- Marvelous Designer software have tested and supports Wacom® tablet products, and compatibility issues may occur with third-party tablets.
- Marvelous Designer software does not support BootCamp in macOS, also does not support similar desktop virtualization apps.
- Marvelous Designer software does not support 32-bit OS (e.g. Windows 7 32-bit), Apple iOS, iPad OS, tvOS, Android OS, ChromeOS, and Windows Mobile.
- Marvelous Designer software can be downloaded as .exe or .dmg file format via Marvelous Designer official website. It is not distributed in .msi or .pkg file format.
- Marvelous Designer software can be installed and run in virtual server environments such as Virtual Machine and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and in cloud services. However, in this case, Marvelous Designer team does not provide technical support.
