Off-Avatar 3D Pen Drawing

For Marvelous Designer users that are more comfortable working in the 3D environment, this feature allows them to create patterns easily. Users can create straight or curved connected lines on and around the avatar with the existing 3D pen tool, and flatten it into 2D pattern pieces. 

Keep Topology after Autofitting

This update makes it possible to maintain the topology during Auto Fitting, dramatically reducing working time for users. Auto fitting maintains original mesh topology, enabling seamless reuse of existing assets such as UVs, rigging, blend shapes, and vertex colors without manual rework across 3D workflows.

Pattern Drafter (Beta)

Users can now generate patterns based on their selection of clothing type. They can easily adjust the values, save, and load them. In addition, they can seamlessly create patterns from any uploaded image.

Softbody for Custom Avatars

With the new update, Marvelous Designer now supports softbody simulation for custom and non-skeletal avatars.

Denim Wet Wash

This denim preset allows users to easily create denim wet wash effects. In the fabric property editor, users can choose the denim type and adjust the denim-specific parameters to control wash effects. This includes Rinse, Enzyme, Stone, Acid, Bleach, and Ozone wash effects.

AI Pose Generator (Beta)

Users can create pose files for their avatars using text prompts or uploaded and generated images within Marvelous Designer via the new AI Pose Generator. You can create poses, add clothing with those poses, check the desired fit, and produce the desired result more easily.
