The Next Gen Hub is a curated space designed to highlight the next generation of creative leaders. We provide students and early-career creators with a professional platform to spotlight their work, gain industry recognition, and connect directly with companies seeking fresh talent.

Your CONNECT portfolio must demonstrate high levels of creativity, technical skill, and growth potential. 

We also require all members to be active participants within the CONNECT community.

Review Process: 

• Applications are reviewed by Design members to ensure candidates meet the defined criteria. 

• Evaluation metrics are tracked internally for consistency and transparency.

• If your profile is selected, you will receive an email notification and you will see your work featured directly in the Hub tab.

Community Guidelines: 

To stay in the Hub, members must:

• Respectful communication and professional conduct.

• Sharing only original content or work you have rights to publish.

• No offensive, discriminatory, or plagiarized material.

• No use or promotion of illegal or pirated tools/software.

• Collaboration and feedback should remain constructive and respectful.

License Compliance: 

• All participants must use valid and legal software licenses.

• Use of cracked or pirated versions is strictly prohibited.

🚫 Use of unlicensed or cracked software, or violation of community rules, may result in removal from the Next Gen Hub and CONNECT.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER & TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

By submitting an application to the Next Gen Hub, you ("the Participant") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Nature of the Initiative. The Next Gen Hub is a promotional initiative and community-building program operated by CLO Virtual Fashion. It is designed solely to increase the visibility of emerging talent and to foster the growth of the CLO user community. The Next Gen Hub is not a separate legal entity, subsidiary, partnership, or joint venture. It functions strictly as a curated showcase and referral resource. CLO Virtual Fashion does not act as a staffing agency, headhunter, or commercial intermediary between Participants and Enterprise clients.

2. No Employment or Agency Relationship. Participation in the Next Gen Hub is voluntary and does not constitute an employment contract, independent contractor agreement, or agency relationship between the Participant and CLO Virtual Fashion.

2.1 No Compensation. Selection for the Hub does not entitle the Participant to any wages, benefits, insurance, or compensation from CLO Virtual Fashion.

2.2 No Guarantee of Work. While the Hub aims to facilitate connections, CLO Virtual Fashion makes no representations or warranties regarding the availability of internships, freelance work, or full-time employment resulting from this visibility.

3. Adherence to General Terms of Use. These Terms of Participation constitute "Additional Terms" as defined in CLO Virtual Fashion’s General Terms of Use. By participating in this initiative, you acknowledge that your access to and use of the Services (including CLO-SET and CLO-SET Connect) remain governed by the General Terms of Use (https://legal.clo-set.com/general). As established in the General Terms of Use, in the event of any conflict between these Terms and the General Terms of Use regarding the Next Gen Hub, these Terms shall prevail, while all non-conflicting provisions of the General Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect.

4. Software Compliance & Ethical Conduct:

4.1 Licensing. The Participant warrants that all work submitted and displayed has been created using valid, legally licensed software. The use of cracked, pirated, or unauthorized versions of CLO software (or any third-party tools) is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these terms, resulting in immediate removal and potential legal action.

4.2 Community Guidelines. The Participant agrees to adhere to the CONNECT Community Guidelines. Any conduct deemed offensive, discriminatory, unprofessional, or harassing will result in immediate termination from the initiative.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights:

5.1 Ownership. The Participant retains full ownership and copyright of their original work.

5.2 License to Display. By participating, the Participant grants CLO Virtual Fashion a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual license to reproduce, display, distribute, and promote the submitted portfolio materials on CLO’s platforms (including CONNECT), social media channels, and marketing materials for the specific purpose of promoting the Participant and the Next Gen Hub initiative.

5.3 Originality. The Participant warrants that their work is original and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.

6. Active Status & Removal:

6.1 Engagement. Continued participation is conditional upon active community engagement (minimum of two meaningful interactions per month).

6.2 Right to Remove. CLO Virtual Fashion reserves the absolute right to remove any Participant from the Next Gen Hub at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability.

6.3 Periodic Review. Profiles are subject to review every 3 months. Accounts inactive for more than 6 months may be offboarded to maintain the quality of the Hub.

7. Data Privacy & Processing. Personal data and portfolio information collected for the Next Gen Hub will be processed in accordance with CLO Virtual Fashion’s Privacy Policy. The Participant explicitly consents to their profile data being shared with third-party Enterprise clients for the purpose of professional introductions.

8. Voluntary Withdrawal. The Participant may request the removal of their profile from the Next Gen Hub at any time by submitting a formal request via the "Contact Us" form on the CLO or MD website. CLO Virtual Fashion will process such requests and cease the feature of the profile within a commercially reasonable timeframe.
